**JOB TITLE**:Coordinator, Wheelchair Tennis
**DEPARTMENT**: Wheelchair, Tours & Player Pathway
**REPORTING TO**:Head of Wheelchair Sport Science & Pathway
**LOCATION**: Roehampton, South West London (with some international travel)

We are currently working to a hybrid model requiring a mandatory minimum of 3 days working
in our office based in Roehampton, London and as part of this, Monday and Tuesdays are ‘anchor
days’ where all staff work from the office.

**International Tennis Federation (ITF) is the world governing body of tennis**. Founded in 1913, its
purpose is to ensure the long-term growth and sustainability of the sport, delivering tennis for
future generations in association with its 213 member nations. The ITF oversees the rules and
regulations that govern international and national competition.

The ITF is responsible for the worldwide development of tennis through its highly regarded
Development Programme, its Science and Technical department which monitors equipment and
technology, and its Officiating department which oversees the education and advancement of
officials. The ITF organises over 1,500 weeks of men’s, women’s and junior tournaments on the
ITF World Tennis Tour, and also manages the ITF junior team competitions, ITF Beach Tennis Tour,
UNIQLO Wheelchair Tennis Tour and the ITF Masters Circuit. The ITF is the owner and rightsholder
of the two largest annual international team competitions in tennis, Davis Cup and Billie Jean King
Cup by Gainbridge, and manages the Olympic and Paralympic Tennis Events on behalf of the IOC
and IPC. The ITF upholds the highest standards of integrity and is a partner in the International
Tennis Integrity Agency.

**Overview of Department**:
The Wheelchair Tennis department is responsible for all aspects of wheelchair tennis at an
international level. Activities include the organisation of the Wheelchair Tennis Event at the
Paralympic Games, the BNP Paribas World Team Cup, the NEC Wheelchair Tennis Masters, the
UNIQLO Wheelchair Tennis Tour, classification and the development of wheelchair tennis for
adults and juniors worldwide.

**The Role**:
We are looking for an experienced administrator to ensure the successful implementation of the
ITF’s wheelchair tennis activities, tours and programmes, and in particular to assist with the
enhancement of the player pathway, the growth of development activities and sport science
administration.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide a high level of customer service to all stakeholders, including players.
- Liaise with and provide all necessary support to players, National Associations,

tournament organisers, coaches and officials regarding ITF activity programmes, event
organisation and other wheelchair tennis related matters.
- Support colleagues and National Associations with development of strategic plans and

activity delivery relating to pathway development.
- Assist with the collation and sharing of best practice in the sport, across National

Associations and other key stakeholders/partners.
- Assist with sport science activity and projects to advance research in the sport.
- Provide administration for classification activities including processing of sensitive

medical documentation, record keeping and event planning and logistics.
- Develop a full understanding of all wheelchair tennis competition regulations; contribute

to their ongoing development in the best interests of the game and stakeholders.
**General duties/responsibilities**:

- Administer specific wheelchair tennis projects and undertake relevant and reasonable

duties as requested by the Heads of department.
- Ensure that the projects allocated run as efficiently and effectively as possible.
- Attend regular team meetings regarding division of work / progress of projects.
- Liaise closely with departmental colleagues, other ITF departments, and national and

regional associations on projects allocated.
- Travel to and act as ITF representative at certain events as required.
- Prepare information materials for distribution or publication to stakeholders/sponsors/

partners, including circulars, notices, regulation updates.
- Help prepare budgets and create and distribute invoices for collection of monies.
- Prepare papers for meetings; attend Committee / Commission / other meetings and take

minutes as necessary.
