Patient Transportation Coordinator
We are seeking a skilled Patient Transportation Coordinator to join our team at Wales Medicines Strategy Group. This role offers a competitive salary of £29,485 - £31,088 per annum, based on full-time hours.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting patients to and from our specialist cardiac and respiratory hospitals. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Transporting patients to outpatient appointments, day case treatment, admissions, discharges, and transfers between NHS hospitals nationally.
  2. Caring for frail and vulnerable patients, including those requiring assistance with wheelchairs.
  3. Providing clear and concise basic clinical information to healthcare professionals when handing over patients.
  4. Conducting risk assessments for patient, staff, and public safety.
  5. Maintaining infection prevention and control standards in the ambulance vehicles and equipment.

To succeed in this role, you will need a Level 2 Diploma or GCSE qualifications in Mathematics and English, as well as a Full Clean driving license (UK Driving License). Additionally, you must be able to complete a Certificate in Ambulance Patient Care (post-entry).
