Job Description

As a Passenger Assistance Coordinator, you will play a vital role in delivering a safe and comfortable transportation service to our service users.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting passengers with disabilities on accessible home-to-school transport services
  • Ensuring the safety and comfort of all passengers
  • Helping passengers board and alight the vehicle safely
  • Monitoring passengers during transit and reporting any incidents
  • Operating equipment to assist passengers and secure wheelchairs

You will also be required to communicate effectively with passengers, colleagues, and other stakeholders in a patient and informative manner.

This is a term-time only position, with contracts starting at 15 hours per week, split shifts. You will be entitled to 5.6 weeks annual leave and will have access to our Employee Assurance Programme and pension scheme after three months' service.

Salary: £19,000 per annum (pro-rata).
