**JOB TITLE**:Senior** **Coordinator, Wheelchair Tennis

**REPORTING TO**:Head, Wheelchair Tennis
**LOCATION**:Roehampton, South West London (with some international travel)

We work to a hybrid model requiring a mandatory minimum of 3 days working in the office
based in Roehampton, London, and as part of this; Mondays and Tuesdays are ‘anchor days’
where all staff are obliged to work from the office.

**International Tennis Federation (ITF) is the world governing body of tennis**. Founded in 1913, its
purpose is to ensure the long-term growth and sustainability of the sport, delivering tennis for
future generations in association with its 213 member nations. The ITF oversees the rules and
regulations that govern international and national competition.

The ITF is responsible for the worldwide development of tennis through its highly regarded
Development Programme, its Science and Technical department which monitors equipment and
technology, and its Officiating department which oversees the education and advancement of
officials. The ITF is the owner of the two largest annual international team competitions in tennis,
Davis Cup and Billie Jean King Cup (BJKC) by Gainbridge and manages the Olympic and Paralympic
Tennis Events on behalf of the IOC and IPC. The ITF organises over 1,500 weeks of men’s, women’s
and junior tournaments on the ITF World Tennis Tour, ITF Beach Tennis Tour, UNIQLO Wheelchair
Tennis Tour and the ITF Masters Tour. The ITF upholds the highest standards of integrity and is a
partner in the International Tennis Integrity Agency.

**Overview of Department**:
The Wheelchair Tennis department is responsible for all aspects of wheelchair tennis at an
international level. Activities include the organisation of the Wheelchair Tennis Event at the
Paralympic Games, the BNP Paribas World Team Cup, the NEC Wheelchair Tennis Masters, the
UNIQLO Wheelchair Tennis Tour, classification and the development of wheelchair tennis for
adults and juniors worldwide.

**The Role**:
We are looking for an experienced administrator to ensure the successful implementation of the
ITF’s wheelchair tennis activities and programmes and in particular to assist with the organisation
and administration of the UNIQLO Tour.

**Responsibilities**:

- Act as a key point of contact for and provide support to players for all aspects of the Tour

and their participation, including tournament entries and registration (IPIN); build and
maintain player relations and provide a high level of customer service at all times

- Liaise with and provide all necessary support to other stakeholders, including National

Associations, tournament organisers and officials regarding tournament organisation and
other wheelchair tennis related matters
- Travel to and attend events (occasional, as required) to support and facilitate player,

tournament and other stakeholder relations
- Coordinate receipt and processing of tournament fact sheets, weekly results and reports
- Process tournament Entries/Withdrawals and Acceptance Lists; coordinate and maintain

the Tour Calendar, world rankings and player Code of Conduct
- Develop a full understanding of all wheelchair tennis competition regulations; contribute

to their ongoing development in the best interests of the game and stakeholders
- Maintain the wheelchair tennis database and contribute to and support development of

digital systems to enhance operational and administrative process
- Assist with the organisation and administration of major ITF wheelchair tennis events
- Prepare and maintain information materials for distribution to stakeholders, including

major event circulars, player notices, regulation updates reports and data records
- Prepare and distribute invoices for collection of monies and assist with the preparation of

department budgets.
**General duties/responsibilities**:

- To administer specific wheelchair tennis projects and undertake relevant and reasonable

duties as requested by the Head of department.
- To ensure that the projects allocated run as efficiently and effectively as possible
- To attend regular team meetings regarding division of work / progress of projects
- To liaise closely with departmental colleagues, other ITF departments, national and

regional associations on projects allocated
