**Job Title - **Purchase Ledger Assistant

**Salary - **£22,000 - £24,000 DOE

**Hours and Shift(s) - **40 hours per week Monday - Friday 9.00am - 5.00pm (30 min paid break)

**Main Location - **Roborough, Plymouth

**Job Purpose -**

**Responsibilities**
- **Accounts payable**
- Ensure purchase order processing procedures are being followed
- Enter purchase invoices on to Access and obtain relevant authorisation signatures

**Additional Finance Support Duties**
- Monthly financial reporting and journal posting
- Working closely with their external accountants on statutory accounts
- Administration, office support and ad-hoc reporting as required

**Experience, Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills -**
- Experience working for a Manufacturer or FMCG Company would be desirable but not essential.
- Proficient in the use of Accounting software packages
- Knowledge of Access software would be desirable
- Good general IT skills - Excel to intermediate/advanced level
- Confident working under pressure in a busy office environment
- Adapts to change
- Able to plan, organise and prioritise own workload and work autonomously
- Strong Team-player
- Can-do attitude
- Customer focused
