Purchasing Assistant

As a Purchasing Assistant you will work closely and effectively with the Procurement Manager.

You will have to be confident in negotiations and talking with a variety or suppliers and internal staff to achieve the best possible price on fire safety products - we will provide full training on product knowledge

**Key Skills / Responsibilities**:

- Purchasing per project based within the budget
- Reactive purchasing based on on-site requisitions
- Negotiations with suppliers
- Supplier reviews
- Meeting deadlines for goods to get to site
- Chasing deliveries with suppliers
- Resolving account queries and ordering issues
- One-off procurement exercises for bespoke projects
- Have great attention to detail
- Ideally (although not necessary) come from a buying/procurement background
- Have excellent negotiation skills

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
