An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 4 Colposcopy Database Coordinator within the gynaecology department. We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic team with a high standard of organisational skills to provide an efficient administrative service to the team.

To act as an initial point of contact for administrative and clinical staff with the colposcopy service and train users on the database. To lead and assist with collating and inputting of service specific data into databases as required.

This role is advertised as full time, however part time hours could be considered.

The post holder will deal with highly sensitive and confidential patient and service information ensuring that such information is held securely. All work will be carried out in accordance with Trust policies and with reference to the NHS Cervical Screening Programme recommendations and guidelines.

Participate in the identification and implementation of service improvements.

To maintain, input and update all local colposcopy databases.

Monitor the colposcopy database prior to clinics to allow data entry during clinical consultations and treatments.
