Perinatal Healthcare Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Perinatal Healthcare Specialist to join our Maternity Immunisations Team at Kettering General Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality care to women and their babies, while improving maternity experience and maintaining clinical credibility.
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing, monitoring, and promoting immunisation services available at KGH. This includes delivering the NHS maternity immunisation programmes, which include Pertussis, seasonal Influenza, Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) vaccinations, as well as the BCG vaccination to eligible babies.
With a strong focus on patient care, you will work closely with the Antenatal & Newborn (ANNB) Screening Team to provide the highest quality care required to support each woman in her pathway. Your expertise will also be essential in managing resources, participating in the coordination of clinics and appointments, and maintaining databases relating to the update of vaccinations.
In addition, you will be proactive in the collation of data and the reporting of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to the immunisation programmes. We offer an excellent training package relevant to the role, which will be provided, and you will be actively supported in continuing professional development.
