We are looking for an enthusiastic HR Coordinator who is self-motivated and efficient. This role is based in our Head Office in Glasgow City Centre and will provide full administration and coordination support within our Operations Team to ensure smooth operation of our HR Department.

This position will pay an integral role within the team and will suit someone who has generalist HR experience with a special interest in Learning & Development. The variety of this newly created role will allow you to grow your skills within HR as you will continuously review and develop our HR processes.

As Scottish Dental Care continues to grow, this role offers a great opportunity to strengthen and support the HR department through providing an accurate, efficient, and effective administration process associated with the needs of the department. This role will also support the execution of the Learning and Development strategy to achieve the business objectives.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Assist with the day-to-day operations of the HR department, including maintaining employee records and management of HR portal ensuring compliance will all relevant regulations and policies
- Manage and coordinate all administration tasks within the department such as inductions, onboarding, leavers, employment changes, absence related documentation, performance reviews, appraisals, probation reviews etc
- Maintain and monitor all holiday, absence, sickness and timekeeping records producing reports on a regular basis
- To implement key projects and objectives within specific time frames in line with department objectives and the HR plan
- Assist in the implementation of the company HR strategy
- Review the current and assist in the implementation of HR policies and procedures to ensure they are as efficient as possible
- Implement and maintain the company appraisal process providing written and verbal feedback to employees as required
- Creating company inductions as well as creating role specific inductions for new starters
- Assist in the ongoing development of the employee handbook
- Assist in the development of our e-learning platform to improve performance, understanding and competency of all team members throughout the group
- Assist in the creation of digital learning solutions
- Take ownership for the development of our training content
- Keep up to date with legislative changes relating to HR

**You’ll be successful if you**:

- Have proven experience within a similar role, ideally within a dental or healthcare environment
- Have a minimum of two years’ experience within a HR function
- Have a good understanding of HR processes and GDPR regulations
- Have experience in the creation of company inductions and appraisals
- Have a high level of computer literacy with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint with the ability to pick up new systems quickly
- Are comfortable working in a fact paced and changing environment
- Have a flexible and professional approach to work with the ability to maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive personal data
- Have strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with a range of stakeholders at all levels
- Have high attention to detail and accuracy in all work
