We have an opportunity for an experienced HR Coordinator/Assistant to join our Ship Building client.

As HR Coordinator, you will be first point of contact for all day-to-day queries and will be responsible for ensuring that an efficient and effective HR service is provided to the business. This role will also support the wider HR team on key HR projects and case management.

**THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT**- Previous experience of working in a fast-paced HR department is essential-
- Exceptional attention to detail with a high level of accuracy-
- Excellent communication skills-
- Ability to build strong relationships at all levels-
- Ability to use own initiative as well as work as part of a team-
- Ability to prioritise workload, and manage multiple tasks effectively-
- Experience of preparing large mail merges and working with large amounts of data-
- Experience of data analysis-
- A good understanding of GDPR in practice-
- An ability to demonstrate tact and discretion when dealing with confidential informationPrevious experience within the shipbuilding / manufacturing industry is desirable**JOB DESCRIPTION**- Manage the administrative and transactional elements of the HR department at all stages of the employee life cycle-
- Update and maintain employee records and HR/Payroll systems-
- Managing queries in the HR shared mailbox, ensuring a prompt and accurate response-
- Prepare and issue a variety of letters, including the use of mail merge-
- Support monthly payroll processing-
- Track all holidays and leave of absences-
- Support the team identifying training requirements and organising training courses-
- Support with expenses claims-
- Prepare and issue a variety of letters-
- Maintains confidentiality at all times, adhering to GDPR legislation-
- Ensures all work is carried out within employment legislation requirements and HR best practice**REMUNERATION PACKAGE ON OFFER**
