Central Administrator

About the role
We are seeking a Central Administrator to join our busy Distribution team.
In this role you will play a pivotal part in supporting the distribution department with various tasks such as reporting, inventory management, maintaining accurate records, co-ordinating stock movements, and assisting with the resolution of any distribution related issues.
You will be responsible for
- Providing high level admin support for the Central Distribution Team.
- Report compilation and distribution.
- Communicating with customers (Booker branches), 3PL’s and internal stakeholders both verbally and in writing.
- Managing all goods in and goods out transactions for any 3PL activity.
- Stock reconciliation between Booker stock files and 3PL providers.
- Managing stock adjustments on Booker WMS (Warehouse Management system).
- Use of various systems - Booker WMS (Locator), 3PL’s WMS, MIS (reporting tool for SAP) - training will be provided on all systems.
- Organising stock movements.
- Resolving delivery issues.
- Dealing with branch claims.
- 3PL Invoice validation.
- Supporting the business function as appropriate.
You will need
Experience/understanding of working within a Distribution environment would be advantageous however is not essential.
Must have experience using MS office with advanced understanding of Microsoft Excel i.e. formulas, pivot tables, vlook ups. VBA macros preferred but not essential.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate at different levels, both internally and externally.
