School Support Manager

Job Summary:

  • We are seeking an experienced Education Administrator to join our team at Long-term Teachers Ltd. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive administrative support to the Office Manager and Senior Leadership Team.
  • The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational and communication skills, with experience in providing high-quality administrative services in a school setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Secretarial and Administrative Support:
  • Provide diary management, book appointments, and maintain accurate records.
  • Organize meetings, minute-taking, and distribute minutes to relevant parties.
  • Support HR administration, including personnel files and recruitment paperwork.
Financial Management:
  • Understand and work within the Trust's financial procedures, including purchasing, invoicing, payments, and banking.
  • Liaise with the central finance team and support other staff with financial procedures.
  • Raise purchase orders, manage stock, and ensure accurate financial information is filed.
General Administration:
  • Maintain pupil and staff information on school systems, producing reports as required.
  • Deal with telephone enquiries and take clear messages.
  • Support safeguarding administration, including the Single Central Record (SCR), to ensure accurate and secure data.
  • Liaise with parents and external agencies professionally.
  • Provide cover for absent members of the administrative team and Reception during lunchtimes.
  • Maintain accurate attendance records and produce termly attendance data reports.

Requirements:

  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Experience in providing administrative services in a school setting.
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of financial procedures and ability to work within them.
  • Confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive information.
