We are currently recruiting for a **Used Equipment Sales Person** in the **North **region, to expand our team and capitalise on the growing demand for high-quality pre-owned construction machinery in the market
**Main Responsibilities**:
- Responsible for buying and selling used Hitachi Construction Equipment and other makes.
- Inspect used equipment on customers’ sites and depots.
- Create solutions and ensure a smooth sales process.
- Raise customer orders.
- Generate new sales leads through business directories, client referrals etc.
- Monitor competitive activity.
- Report Sales Trends.
- Meet Sales targets.
- Represent Company at exhibitions and events.
- Liaise with Used Equipment Department and Sales Administration Department.
**Knowledge, Skills & Abilities**:
- Essential_
- GCSE Maths and English (Grade C and above).
- Demonstrable experience in similar role, minimum of 2 years’ experience.
- Strong communications skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills, be a forward thinker with the capability to plan ahead.
- Strong organisational and planning skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work under pressure and resolve issues that may arise.
- Adapts their communication style to suit their customer/colleague responding to their feedback.
- Preferred_
- Experience of working in the manufacturing or similar industry.
- The ability to build rapport quickly with colleagues and customers.
- Ability to provide assistance and support to colleagues.
