We have an exciting opportunity to join the Estate Services Department as an Apprentice Facilities Administration Support Assistant working within FM managed buildings.

Estates Services is responsible for the management of Oxford’s 450 buildings, University Parks and Gardens, Wytham Woods and commercial, agriculture and residential land. Our values include being open, honest and fair, we listen, and to show courtesy and respect to our staff.

**About the Role**

Becoming an apprentice at the University of Oxford is an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience and training. You will work alongside experienced colleagues, whilst learning on the job and appropriate objectives will be set during the course of the Apprenticeship. At the same time, you will study for formal qualifications in your field.

You will work as an Apprentice Facilities Administration Support Assistant, working along side the Facilities Administrators. You will be required to complete a one 13 - 18 month training programme that will cover all aspects of the role and will be delivered through in-house training, as well as distance learning methods delivered by our Apprentice supplier. You will complete a Level 3 Intermediate Business Administration Apprenticeship.

**About You**

To be successful in this varied and interesting role, you will need to be someone who strives for excellence and enjoys providing high quality customer service, whilst also ensuring what you deliver is completed in a safe way.

You will have great communication skills, and be confident in the ability to communicate to members of the public, students and academic staff with courtesy and politeness.

You will also have a positive attitude with an adaptable approach to your work, and be comfortable when priorities suddenly need to change.

The role will involve some manual handling, however, training will be provided. You also should be IT literate and be comfortable learning and utilising new software as required.

Interviews are expected to take place on Thursday 6 July and will be in-person.
