**Role Purpose**:
We are seeking to recruit a contracts administrator to deliver clerical support and management information to the Contract Management Unit within the Facilities Management Department.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- To maintain database information on Vehicle Recovery, Boarding Up and Dangerous Dogs.
- To monitor and action day to day issues in relation to Vehicle Recovery, Boarding Up and Dangerous Dogs including:

- Retention and disposal of vehicle
- Obtain information on property owners and various sources
- Kennel repatriation of gods (dangerous and/or welfare)
- Raising purchase orders
- Payments and costs in relation to all of the above contracts
- Assist the Contracts Manager with the management of Vehicle Recovery, Boarding Up and Dangerous Dog contract.
- Clerical support to the Facilities Management Department
- General correspondence with outside organisations, and member of South Yorkshire Police
- Maintenance of filling systems, including completion of old files and destruction of out of date files.
- Dealing with incoming and outgoing mail regarding the above contracts to the Department
- Supply of general information to end users and the organisation
- Any other duties appropriate to the post of admin assistant as may be required by the department
- In carrying out your duties, you will be operating within South Yorkshire police Guiding Principles and Equal Opportunities.

**Skills and experience**:

- Experience of dealing with face to face enquiries from members of the public
- Experience of using computer packages including Word and Excel
- Previous Clerical experience
- Experience of using web-based information systems
