**Role Purpose**:
Provide Admin Support to the Judicial Prosecution Team to assist them with the efficient management of file preparation within CJU structure.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Knowledge and experience of computer software and keyboard skills are essential.
- Experience of communication by various methods.
- Liaise with other prosecuting agencies, e.g., Department of Vehicle Licensing, HM Customs and Excise, deal with enquiries from defendants where appropriate.
- Regularly attend court to provide admin support to the JP’s by completing any necessary forms to track any adjournments and trials listed and upload documents to the case in the Connect system.
- Check validity of motor insurance documents produced both in the office and at Magistrates Court.
- Complete all admin functions for Safety Camera Partnership cases, including preparation of a Disclosure Pack for service to the defendant ensuring data confidentiality is adhered to in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.
- Interrogate/Input/Retrieve various computer packages.
- May be required to work after normal hours/weekends on overtime.
- Flexible to work at other locations within South Yorkshire.
- Any other duties commensurate with the grade of the post.

This role has been evaluated as a Hybrid role.

Fixed: This is a traditional arrangement, applicable when the work is mostly required to be undertaken at a fixed single place of work (on police premises) for most of the time. The work can only or is more effectively delivered from a police premises or other agreed organisational/partner premises.

Field: This applies to roles that do have a base, however, due to the nature of their duties is required to travel to other locations. Due to the nature of these roles, they cannot accommodate flexible working from home on a permanent basis.

Hybrid: Applicable when the work can be undertaken at any location, whether that be a SYP building or from home.
