**Job Title: Administrative Officer**
Brunlea Surgical Supplies are a family owned Business operating within the medical supplies sector as a Dispensing Appliance Contractor. We specialise in the supply of Ostomy and Incontinence products, providing a high-quality home delivery service to patients in the North West and beyond.
We have successfully been doing this since 1983 and pride ourselves in being a company in which people in medical need want to deal with, and trust us in delivering them a service in which is hassle-free and high in quality. The business is looking to employ a full-time administrative officer to carry out the job duties detailed below.
The job role requires full time hours from 8:30am-5:00pm Mon-Thurs and 8:30am-4:00pm Fridays. During these hours, a 1-hour dinner break is permitted and the job role is to be carried out on-site in our office located in Burnley, Lancashire. The starting Salary is set at £22,500 with scope for development upon successful review of the probation period set by the company.
Sufficient and constant training and support will be provided both at induction to the job and beyond.
**Main Duties Include**:
- Provide administrative support to the management team and staff
- Manage and coordinate office operations and procedures
- Maintain accurate records and files
- Monitor office supplies and place orders as needed
- Process, input and sort prescriptions both paper and electronic
- Be fully competent answering calls and inputting data into a system
- Be computer literate
- Have good communication & customer service skills, both written and verbal
- Have enthusiasm and confidence to develop within the job role and integrate themselves within the business
- Have problem solving skills & the ability to multitask
- Have good interpersonal skills
- Have Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Have Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
- Be able to work in a team and independently when required
Upon successful acceptance, the employee will be permitted 25 days holiday (plus statutory Bank Holidays) as well as free on-site parking.
**Salary**: £20,000.00-£22,500.00 per year
