Lancaster, United Kingdom Lancaster University Full time

Lancaster Medical School is looking to appoint an Assessment Coordinator to join the professional service team for undergraduate medical student assessment.

We are looking for a committed and professional individual to work as part of a team to provide professional support to medical assessment including coursework, written and clinical elements.

As Assessment Coordinator you will work closely with another Coordinator, under the supervision of the Assessment Officer and with support of Assessment Assistant to provide an excellent standard of service to academic, clinical colleagues and medical students in the preparation and delivery of high stakes medical assessment. You will need to work as part of the aforementioned team but also independently. You will need to use your critical attention to detail skills to ensure the high level of accuracy, which is essential for the work. A significant aspect of the role will involve working collaboratively across LMS and its partners with academic, clinical and professional colleagues, so excellent communication skills are essential. Good time management and excellent administrative skills are also essential, including strong IT skills.

The Faculty provides an environment that strongly supports the individual needs of each employee, promoting a healthy work-life balance. We are committed to family-friendly and flexible working policies on an individual basis, as well as the Athena SWAN Charter, which recognises and celebrates good employment practice undertaken to address gender equality in higher education and research.

Lancaster Medical School is committed to ensuring our workforce is reflective of our diverse student population and is therefore committed to increasing representation of staff of Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic backgrounds across all roles and at all levels.
- _The post may require some working outside of normal office hours and peak busy times of the year run.
