**Location**: Central London office three days per week, with flexibility to work from home the remaining two days.
**Contract type**: Fixed Term 12-month contract
**Holiday**: 25 days per annum
**Hours**: 37.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday)

**Role Purpose**
The Royal Foundation is looking for an exceptional Team Assistant to provide support to the Partnerships team, with a specific focus on due diligence. This is a varied role and is well suited to someone at the start of or early on in their career who wants to gain wide-ranging experience in a high-profile, ambitious organisation. The Team Assistant will support the Prospect Research Specialist and Partnership Officer with due diligence and other administrative tasks in order to ensure effective organisation, co-ordination and flow of information.
**Key Objectives, but not limited to**:
Reporting directly to the Prospect Research Specialist, the primary responsibility of the Partnership Team Assistant includes:
- Working closely with the Prospect Research Specialist and Partnership Officer on conducting thorough due diligence on all prospective partners for the Foundation, with a main focus on guests attending the Foundation’s key events, in line with the Foundation’s Due Diligence Policy and Gift Acceptance Policy.
- Supporting with the due diligence on the Foundation’s Homelessness programme, Homewards, specifically the prospective partners and funders within our six locations across the UK.
- Working alongside the Prospect Research Specialist and Partnerships Officer on prospect research and to help oversee the tracking of the team’s pipeline.
- Providing robust administrative support as required to maintain accurate donor and partner records on the Foundation’s Salesforce database, in adherence to GDPR rules and the Foundation’s data management policy. This includes donation logging and thanking.
- Undertaking other duties that may, from time to time, be necessary and compatible with the nature and level of this post.
- Representing The Royal Foundation at meetings and events as required. This may occasionally require travel and an overnight stay.

- Experience of a not-for-profit organisation or projects
- Previous experience of supporting projects and/or events
- Highly competent user of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Experience of working in a busy environment
- Strong communication and written presentation skills
- Ability to think strategically and creatively

- General knowledge of the need for a due diligence policy and process
- Experience of successfully dealing with stakeholders at different levels
