- Do you possess understanding and experience in rent arrears, possession action including attending court and evictions?
- Do you have a proven understanding and experience in welfare benefits, universal credit and housing benefit?
- Are you confident in using all Microsoft packages?
- Do you have proven time management, negotiation, and prioritisation skills?
- Have you the ability to work under pressure in a target focused environment?

Here at Peabody, we have an opportunity for a Collections Officer on a permanent basis.

**A bit about the role**:
As a Collections Officer, you will be the first point of contact for effectively managing tenant arrears with a strong focus on income collection maximisation and customer relations. Exhausting a set of agreed policies and procedures and through using data to ensure the delivery of a rent collection and arrears service which meets targets whilst helping customers to manage debt and sustain their tenancies.. Some of the key results for the role include:

- Maximising cash collection, reducing rent arrears and preventing evictions and thereby sustaining tenancies
- Embodying Peabody’s values and demonstrating excellent customer service
- Adapting to changing internal and external factors and legislation and maximising collaboration with the Financial Inclusion and support teams.
- This role will require a UK drivers licence and access to a vehicle and is hybrid working attending the Houghton Hall office as and when required._
