**Senior Systems Support Officer (Training and Projects)**
We have an exciting opportunity to join Cornwall Council in a position that provides support to the Care and Wellbeing Directorate (formerly Adults Social Care) and the Together for Families Directorate.
The Senior Systems Support Officer (Training and Projects) will report to the Service Manager (Statutory Performance and Integrated Systems) who has responsibility for business systems including training, first and second line user support and system configuration/maintenance and the provision of performance data and statutory returns.
The post-holder will be responsible managing the provision of system training across the Care and Wellbeing and Together for Families Directorates; our primary case management systems are: Mosaic; Synergy and Core+. This will include communicating our training offer and planning and delivering high quality training as well as coaching other individuals within the team to provide training. The post-holder will also have responsibility for all training related administration processes including the management of an e-learning system that is used to provide some areas of training. This post-holder currently directly manages one member of staff but works closely with other members of the wider team who provide 1-1 training.
In addition, the post-holder has a responsibility to support the Service Manager or the Business Systems Team Manager with systems and data related projects. This can include project co-ordination tasks and picking up specific pieces of work to support the delivery of business projects such as system developments and implementations.
We are seeking an individual with:
- Educational achievement at HNC, HND or NVQ 4 Level with relevant training, technological or analytical content or an equivalent qualification or level of experience.
- Experience of supporting/managing projects
- The ability to deliver training and presentations linked with our business systems*
- The ability to manage and prioritise multiple projects whilst under pressure to meet deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Careful attention to detail with a high standard of literacy and numeracy
- Training in relation to our systems will be provided.
The position will have an office base of New County Hall in Truro, Chy Trevail, in Bodmin or Dolcoath in Camborne. We are open to discussion regarding flexible working and working from home arrangements.
