**Systems Support Officer (Reporting)**
**Salary Range £27,667 - £34,730 (Cornwall Council Grade 3)**

You have a passion for data and how it can tell a story around business performance, leading to improved customer experience. You are experienced in visualizing data in a meaningful way using PowerBI and are competent and accurate in drawing data out from a variety of systems using SQL.

You are used to handling highly confidential data in a secure way, as well as ensuring that the end-user is happy with the report or product that you have supplied, listening to any concerns that they might have and acting on them.

You manage your workload effectively, prioritizing your time to achieve quality products delivered on time and to a high standard. You take personal responsibility for ensuring that your technical knowledge is up to date and you pay notice to trends in the wider industry.

Main duties include:

- To understand the information systems in the Directorates and be responsible for the confidentiality of such data as appropriate in accordance with the Data Protection Act;
- To update and extract information, interrogate systems, analyse data and produce reports as required by Senior Management and business/service units;
- To design and create new reports to support new or revised Directorate developments and requirements using tools such as PowerBI and SQL.
- To manage business and practitioner workshops to prepare business specifications to support reporting developments;
- To develop and maintain reporting in a manner that supports the efficient production of management/performance reporting;
- To maintain an in-depth knowledge of all statutory and local reporting requirements;
