About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Homicide Family Caseworker to join our team at Victim Support. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to families bereaved by and witness to homicide, coordinating a tailored package of support to service users and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a complex caseload to the highest quality standards, ensuring that service users receive the support they need.
  • Work closely with Police Major Crime teams, providing briefings on the work we do in the Homicide Service.
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including police officers, social workers, and other professionals.
  • Provide trauma-informed advocacy and support to service users, ensuring that their needs are met and their voices are heard.
