E-referrals Support Officer

An exciting new opportunity has arisen for a cheerful and motivated person to join Outpatient Booking Services to provide administration support to the national E-Referrals System and the Trust’s Directory of Services.
About You
You will need to be able to work in a calm, logical and methodical way but be able to multi-task whilst dealing with frequent interruptions, and you must possess excellent communication skills.
You must be confident, diplomatic and able to work in a busy environment
You will be required to have a good level of general education and have previous administration and clerical experience and excellent computer skills.
Flexibility and reliability is key as you will be required to cover colleagues in times of sickness and annual leave.

You will have proven customer care skills
To help support the Trust’s eRS Compliance Officer and eRS and Suspected
Cancer Manager with day-to-day queries.
To help support the day to day running of the e-Referrals platform (RAS and
A&G).
As an eRS Support Officer the job holder will work closely with Outpatient
Booking Team’s to ensure smooth delivery of appointment bookings via the EReferrals system and the Patient Administration System (PAS). This will
include, managing workgroups, running reports and the monitoring of worklists.
In addition, any changes as required in line with the Trust processes to reflect
service changes whilst also providing on-going support and maintenance.
The job requires liaison with system users about set up, configuration and any
associated issues, the ability to relate to operational and clinical service issues
and demonstrate effective inter-personal skills is essential.
The main duties of this job description are explained; however, these will
continue to evolve to meet corporate objectives, the outpatient transformation
agenda and NHS targets.
