The team is tasked with ensuring that all installations comply with the latest legislative requirements, and ensure they are serviced and inspected, maintained and replaced as a when required to maintain our compliance.

**About the role**
Pay Details: Grade 8, spinal point 26 - 30 (£32,909-£36,298)
Hours of Work / Working Pattern: 5 days, 37 hours per week
Main Place of Work: Flexible working, from home, at the Alps Depot, Wenvoe and any other in the Vale of Glamorgan, as necessary.
Description:
This role is integral in supporting the delivery of a robust approach to housing health and safety, in particular electrical compliance within the Council’s Housing portfolio
**About you**
You will need:
- Experience of managing electrical installations, in situ and refurbishment electrical programmes.
- Experience of working in a customer focused organisation.
- Experience in Managing and working with electrical contractors.
- Thorough understanding of regulations pertaining to electrical compliance.
- Thorough understanding of the 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
- Able to travel effectively around the various site locations throughout the Vale of Glamorgan.
- Good negotiation and dispute resolution skills
- Confident, independent and problem-solving qualities.
- Self-motivated with good time management skills and ability to prioritise workload to meet deadlines
**Additional information**
Essential to have a current Driving Licence to be able to travel to various sites throughout the Vale of Glamorgan.
