This position gives the successful applicant the chance to be part of one of the fastest restaurant groups in the UK based from its HQ in Central Bristol and to add significant value at a crucial point in its growth.

**Role and Responsibilities**

The role will involve working within both the Accounts Payable team to manage the end-to-end property and utilities costs accurately, and also closely with the management accounts team to help them prepare accurate lines in the accounts in relation to utilities and property costs.

**As Accounts Payable Property Lead, your main responsibilities will include**:

- Managing all utilities and property-related costs, including: posting invoices, direct debits, chasing missing invoices and setting up direct debits and payments when they fall due.
- Maintaining prepayment schedules for property related costs (rent, rates, premises insurance and rates) and helping prepare the property journals for the management accounts.
- Stake holder management and liaising with internal colleagues to ensure all required actions are being completed
- Working with our energy consultant to ensure ongoing issues with billing or reads for sites are resolved and helping the management accounts team to maintain tidy and accurate ledger balances.
- Raising and maintaining invoices for rent and recharges to subtenants.
- Process Payments, using various bank upload templates and online banking portal
- General finance and administration duties - opening post, scanning, filing as required

**Preferred Skills**
- Good numeracy & literacy Skills
- Previous experience 3+ years
- Stake holder management with the ability to influence others and achieve desired outcomes
- Very good attention to detail
- Good communication skills
- An aptitude for general IT, and specifically Excel
- A general knowledge of double entry book-keeping, Journals, Prepayments and accruals would be desirable
- An efficient, methodical and accurate approach to work

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £28,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
