Job Overview

We are working with our Client to recruit for a Accounts Payable Supervisor on a permanent basis. This role is ideal for anyone who is looking to take on a new challenge and wants to be in a successful working environment.

Key Responsibilities

As a Accounts Payable Supervisor, you will have roles and responsibilities to adhere to. These include but are not limited to:

  • Ensure all daily activities are actioned within agreed timescales and in line with agreed SLAs
  • Produce all AP Reporting, including balance sheet reconciliations
  • Manage a team of 6, driving performance and team development
  • Support the Finance Manager, assisting with identifying and implementing control-based improvements to processes and systems
  • Partner with teams across the business to improve data quality and process
Requirements

In order to be successful at this role, you will need the following skills and attributes:

  • Experience of team leadership within Accounts Payable environments
  • A deep understanding of accounting principles and Accounts Payable processes (AAT qualifications are nice to have but not essential)
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with confidence to communicate with stakeholders across the business
  • Knowledge of GRNI process
  • Previous use of financial systems and a good level of Excel knowledge
