We are actively seeking a Pre Construction Buyer to join the team

**Key Responsibilities**
- Analyse & establish cost parameters against budgets for purchases.
- Create and maintain good relationships with manufactures/suppliers
- Make professional decisions in a fast-paced environment
- Maintain records of purchases, pricing, items library, and other important data
- Review and analyse all vendors/suppliers, supply, and price options against the required specifications
- Help develop plans for purchasing equipment, services, and supplies
- Negotiate the best deal whilst considering the whole supply chain.
- Ensure that the products and supplies are high quality and delivered on time
- Maintain and update a list of suppliers, delivery times, and mitigate against delays
- Work with team members and Head of technical buying to complete duties as needed
- Attend Project Meetings

**Skills, Knowledge and Expertise**

**Qualifications**
**Essential**
- Technical role - Contracts Management/Technical Procurement
- GCSEs minimum English & Maths
- Industry Qualification - Plumbing/Heating/Engineering/Built Environment

**Abilities and Skills**
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel
- Ability to negotiate, establish, and bring deals over the line.
- Excellent organisation and planning skills, ability to work to deadlines.
- Managing own time effectively.
- Problem solver.
- Accurate and precise with attention to detail
