We are actively seeking a Pre Construction Buyer to join the team

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyse & establish cost parameters against budgets for purchases.
  • Create and maintain good relationships with manufactures/suppliers
  • Make professional decisions in a fastpaced environment
  • Maintain records of purchases, pricing, items library, and other important data
  • Review and analyse all vendors/suppliers, supply, and price options against the required specifications
  • Help develop plans for purchasing equipment, services, and supplies
  • Negotiate the best deal whilst considering the whole supply chain.
  • Ensure that the products and supplies are high quality and delivered on time
  • Maintain and update a list of suppliers, delivery times, and mitigate against delays
  • Work with team members and Head of technical buying to complete duties as needed
  • Attend Project Meetings

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

Qualifications

Essential

  • Technical role
  • Contracts Management/Technical Procurement
  • GCSEs minimum English & Maths


 Industry Qualification
  • Plumbing/Heating/Engineering/Built Environment

Abilities and Skills

  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel
  • Ability to negotiate, establish, and bring deals over the line.
