Job Overview:
We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Office Administrator to join our team. As an Office Administrator, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day administrative tasks and ensuring the smooth operation of our office. This is a key role that requires excellent communication skills, strong organisational abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
**Duties**:
- Greet visitors and direct them to the appropriate person or department
- Answer phone calls, take messages, and respond to inquiries
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail, including sorting, distributing, and preparing packages for shipment
- Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders as needed
- Schedule appointments and maintain calendars for staff members
- Assist with organising meetings, including booking conference rooms and arranging catering if necessary
- Prepare and edit documents, reports, and presentations
- Assist with basic accounting tasks such as invoicing and expense tracking
- Coordinate travel arrangements for staff members when required
- Assist with HR-related tasks such as maintaining employee records and processing paperwork
**Requirements**:
- GCSE C or above Maths and English or equivalent; additional qualifications in office administration or related field is a plus
- Proven experience as an office administrator or in a similar role
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision
