**Platform Resourcing** are currently working with a leading Global Manufacturing Company who are looking to expand their team by taking on a **Technical Order Administrator **in their Cwmbran office to cover a 12 month maternity position.

They have excellent retention, providing strong levels of support to all employees, and priding themselves on providing clear progression routes for motivated individuals. The role will involve liaison with customers, the process of new orders, arranging deliveries for customers and administration around customer account updates, ensuring orders are delivered on time through liaison with other internal teams.

**Technical Order Administrator Benefits**:

- Salary of up to £27,000, negotiable for the right experience.
- Hours - Monday to Friday 8.15am to 4.15pm.
- Yearly performance bonus.

**Technical Order Administrator Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Support inside sales team on day-to-day customer support activities.
- Support of customer order date validations from the operations planning teams.
- Issuing of customer order acknowledgements.
- Support of daily dispatch sweep to support overall customer on-time-delivery.
- Support of customer subscriptions and updates on.
- Completing customer open order book reports.
- Completing daily shipping reports.
- Support and update of global export manual.
- Updating customer details including their inco terms, payment terms and discount structures.
- Supporting export compliance.
- Processing to check and validate new customers, shipping address etc. to ensure corporate compliance.
- Provide customers updates as and when required.

**Technical Order Administrator Essential Experience**:

- Experience within a manufacturing, engineering, or construction Administrative or Customer Service environment.
- Experience of processing customer orders accurately.
- Experience of arranging delivery for customers is desirable but not essential.
- Excellent customer service skills and strong communication both written and verbal.
- Proven ability to learn technical product knowledge to be able to advise customers on products.
- Be main point of contact for technical enquiries for sales aftercare.
- IT literate, able to use Microsoft Office Packages including Word, Excel and Outlook.
