The Placemaking service is at the forefront of place-based planning and supporting communities in leading the changes in their local areas. Working closely with partners, the service facilitates change through engagement, joint working and creative thinking on how to improve the lives of those living, working and visiting Oxfordshire. We are looking for enthusiastic fresh thinking individuals that understand how to make places and people thrive.
**About the role**:
The Place Engagement and Coordination Officer will play an important role in positive placemaking for communities across Oxfordshire. The role will be responsible for facilitating engagement with local communities, councillors, stakeholders and partners, and using insight gained from various data sources to inform the work of the Placemaking teams.
**There are three roles available - Central, North and South Oxfordshire.**
**About you**:
If you have an interest in community engagement and how data can help drive placemaking then we would like to hear from you. You will be supporting positive place-based planning in a very practical way and will be comfortable being the hub of information for a particular area.
