Head of Patient Experience

An exciting opportunity has arisen for the role of Head of patient Experience (Band 8B), at UHNM. The Head of Patient Experience is responsible, with the Lead Nurse Quality & Safety, Deputy Chief Nurse, Assistant Directors of Nursing & Divisional Nurse Directors for the development & delivery of the Trust strategy for improving & sustaining Patient Experience. This will involve working with teams to deliver a sustained improvement in patient feedback, public involvement, complaint handling & patient survey results.
The Head of Patient Experience will be a champion & leader of Patient Experience initiatives, inspiring & enabling medical, nursing, allied health & managerial colleagues to develop & maintain quality, safety & experience measures & sustain improvements. They will work closely with the Senior Nursing Leadership Team to ensure that comprehensive mechanisms are in place to manage & measure Patient Experience, its assurance & improvement, enabling the Trust to excel in achieving best practice & continuous improvement against national & local standards & ensure that appropriate training is provided to clinical & managerial teams, as necessary.
The Head of Patient Experience will play a key role in supporting the Clinical Divisions to deliver their agreed objectives, targets & patient experience standards within the set resource controls & constraints & in line with the Trust wide vision & strategy.
