**About the role**:
THG Studios is looking to expand its Video Production Coordination team at our studio in Manchester, UK with a Post-Production Coordinator (PPC) covering our video editing and motion teams.

The PPC works alongside our Heads of Department, Producers and Project Managers to support all aspects of our post-production workflow, assisting the delivery of projects on-time and to process/budget requirements, with a keen eye on commerciality.

Acting a gatekeeper for process, the PPC is responsible for resource, schedules, and stakeholder management, supporting the day-to-day running of projects and working collaboratively with all team-members and creatives.

**Main Responsibilities**:

- Overseeing and organising multiple post schedules simultaneously, organising day-to-day tasks and ensuring short/long term deadlines are met around changing business priorities, ensuring effective solutions are suggested and implemented.
- Act as a central point of contact and knowledge of projects between the post-production team and external departments.
- Assist project quoting for all post-production job types, tracking project burn daily and reporting/controlling overburn with departmental heads.
- Liaising between creative teams, shoot producer and production teams to ensure all assets are created or products delivered for in a timely manner and to the correct specs for editing, modelling, or animation.
- Work alongside Project Managers and Producers to schedule resource within wider critical paths, track workflow, keeping up to date on all project status.
- Attend project kick-off, WIP and review meetings.
- Assist with monthly reporting and consolidating data, tracking day-to-day project progression and coordination through internal systems.
- Define and champion THG Studios processes and best-practises, lending your experience to creative, video, and operations teams. Understand, work within and champion our internal processes for own, and commercial brands, feeding back on areas of improvement or additional system as we grow and develop.
- Develop strong working relationships with internal stakeholders/brands/clients to drive better ways of working.
- Review and feedback on project briefs to ensure deliverables are
- Demonstrate keen commercial judgment—understanding initial job scope and assess client feedback to identify scope creep; understanding the effective use of time, and delegates work as appropriate to ensure everyone is billable and timelines are met.
- Support business objectives & KPIs (Key Performance Indicators).
- Working with department heads on future resource planning.
- Lead meetings and conversations with internal and external clients on behalf of the video team.
- Raise departmental purchase orders and record expenditure.
- Book freelancers and ensure our roster is kept up to date and controlling bookings/use of our online edit and audio suites.

**About You**:
You will have demonstratable experience of post-production workflows, pipelines, terminology, delivery formats and broadcast requirements across video editing, 2D animation, 3D animation and VFX, from TikTok to TV.

Your inherent problem-solving mentality enables you to pre-empt bottlenecks and have a view on long-term planning. You will be experienced in designing and implementing streamlined workflows, and comfortable working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
