**Overview**: The Sales & Group Coordinator will work as part of the wider Sales team to ensure the sales process runs smoothly. The role will be the regular point of contact between the internal Sales, Admissions & Operations Teams. The post holder will also provide other administrative support to the Director of Business Development as required.

**1. **Administrative Duties & Support**
- Focus on continuous improvement in respect to quality and processes for sales delivery
- Maintain good working relationships with both colleagues cross the business and suppliers, projecting a professional image of the Company at all times
- Day to day support with the sales team mailbox and phone line
- Support the Sales function in team meetings by taking notes and following up on action items
- Communicating details to the Sales team for Young Learner year-round groups, Summer and Winter Programmes and Adult groups
- Liaising with college teams on all aspects of the operation for each group
- Keeping the product database up to date, collating all product options and requests and managing them with full details, restrictions and costs in order to support the sales team with preparing group quotes
- Assisting in development of marketing materials and price list as required
- Managing process of collating all pre-arrival preparation for each group, alongside Groups Coordinators
- Managing process of collating all post departure paperwork including checking all costs and invoices, alongside Groups Coordinators

**2. Commercial Management**
- Working with the Director(s) of Global Sales and Operations to effectively manage cost on all programmes and products ensuring costs are as expected and changes fed into pricing on all published and bespoke products
- Reacting quickly to customer programme requests during quotation stage
- Managing margin on groups
- Support the yield management of inventory of groups alongside the Groups and Admissions teams

**3. Internal & External Communications**
- Provide support to all teams across BSC as required, keeping the teams regularly updated on pertinent information
- Maintain an in-depth product knowledge of BSC’s portfolio of products in order to best understand how the role supports the needs of the Commercial, Finance and Operational Teams
- Support the Sales team with ensuring regular Product Knowledge training sessions by coordinating with the Group Academic Director, Global Director of Operations and Head(s) of Operation
- Provide content to the monthly newsletter as required

**4. Customer Experience**
- Actively look for and pre-empt delivery problems and potential flashpoints for customers. Proactively communicate with all parties to reduce the impact
- Act as first line of support for the Sales or Admissions & Accommodation teams during delivery to manage problems and complaints, ensuring information flows successfully between parties and making decisions on alternatives and solutions when needed to protect both margin and future business
- Pre arrival liaison between the Admissions and Colleges to ensure a smooth experience

**Job Skills**

**Specific Role Requirements**
- Minimum of 2 years prior experience within a Sales or Operations environment

**Desired Experience/Skills**:

- Experience of planning & creating group programmes
- Good knowledge of the costing process, pricing and managing margins
- Sales experience, whether as a role or part of role
- A second language is desirable
