Purchase Ledger Clerk required for a Manufacturing company based in Southport/Tarleton PR9.
**Duties / Key Responsibilities**:
The main duties of the Purchase Ledger Clerk include **matching and coding invoices, preparing and running BACS payments, reconciling supplier statements, and working out VAT payments**.
**Key Skills / Desired Skills**:
- One years’ experience in an Purchase Ledger Role
- Accuracy with data entry
- Excellent arithmetic, customer service and communication skills
- Ability to communicate complex financial information in a simple, understandable format
- Strong Microsoft, Word, Excel skills
- Good organisation and administrative skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- A pro-active attitude
- Ability to work under pressure, prioritise workload, problem solve
- Diverse skillset and wide breadth of knowledge; Ability to join the dots.
- Positive attitude towards change
**Hours**
- Monday to Friday
- 8am - 4:30pm
**Salary**:
£26,000 - £27,000
**Key Requirements**:
