**About the role**:
Superscript is on the lookout for a helpful and enthusiastic Accounts Payable Administrator to take ownership of our entire accounts payable process, thereby supporting and enhancing the company’s financial integrity.

Reporting to our Financial Controller, this is a great opportunity to join an experienced and friendly finance team in order to make an impact on all aspects of accounts payable.

**What you'll get up to**:

- Be at the forefront of ensuring accurate and up to date postings of financial transactions
- Manage the accounts payable inbox for both our UK group and Netherlands group
- Process invoices in the system and monitor approvals to ensure timely and accurate payments
- Reconcile purchase orders to invoices received
- Execute payment runs with careful consideration of cash flow management
- Build and maintain good relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
- Maintain accurate supplier records on an ongoing basis
- Collaborate with the wider finance team to improve processes
- Perform other ad hoc tasks as required by the wider finance team

**About you**:

- Previous experience in an accounts payable role
- Strong Excel skills
- Proficient knowledge of VAT
- Knowledge of general accounting principles
- Problem solving capabilities and using own initiative in doing so
- Can handle critical issues and ability to prioritise
- Able to collaborate with a variety of stakeholders both internally and externally
- A team player that enjoys collaborating in a cross-functional setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Industry experience in insurance highly beneficial
