Health and Safety Coordinator

**The opportunity**: In your role as H&S Coordinator, you will be directly
responsible for the coordination and execution of all Health & Safety and
H&S training at site.
**How you will impact**:

- Effectively work to the site Safety Management Systems including the maintenance of the system processes
- Support the management team with completion of in-depth investigations and root cause analysis for any site-based incidents to determine suitable preventative control measures and assist in implementation of those actions
- Organise and chair regular Safety Committee Meetings
- Encourage and support the use of the WestRock Benchmark reporting portal for Health and Safety concerns, incidents, and metrics
- Manage the WestRock Compliance Pro portal
- Support and coordinate external audits for ISO14001 and ISO45001 accreditations

**What you need to succeed**:

- Experience as a health and safety coordinator or in a similar role
- Lead by example attitude
- Good, confident communication skills both verbal and written
- Able to effectively manage time and work autonomously
