The Service Support Coordinator position is ideal for individuals aspiring to advance their career in the care sector towards a managerial role. Reporting directly to the Service Coordinator, your primary responsibility will be to ensure that service users receive comprehensive support tailored to their individual needs, thereby delivering exceptional quality in social care.

Key Duties:
  • Uphold the organization's mission and values
  • Assist in daily operations and provide leadership support to team members
  • Deliver outstanding social care services to users in alignment with their specific needs
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism at all times
  • Develop and assess care plans
  • Handle administrative tasks such as documenting incidents and preparing necessary documentation
  • Engage in quality audits
  • Mentor and guide staff through on-the-job training
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations
  • Act as the lead team member during shifts
  • Commit to ongoing professional development

Qualifications/Experience:
  • Must possess SVQ3 in Health & Social Care or an equivalent qualification
  • Experience in supporting individuals with diverse needs
  • Background in assisting individuals facing challenges in social settings
  • Prior supervisory experience is preferred
  • Exhibit strong values and a commitment to inclusion and citizenship
  • Strong organizational capabilities
  • Proficient IT skills
  • Valid driving license
