Job Profile description

In Kainos Digital Advisory we work with clients from the very early phases of their transformation journey. We begin by understanding their business challenges and setting clear strategic direction, then work with the full depth of Kainos delivery capabilities to execute change. Key areas of advisory work include helping clients to navigate uncertainty, solve complex business and technical problems and structure transformational change, enabled by technology.

As a Senior Associate, you will work on projects from inception to completion, from smaller strategic engagements to large scale transformational delivery. You will have experience in assessing client business challenges, supporting development of solutions and implementing a range of business changes enabled by technology. Consulting skills are essential, supported by a broad knowledge of digital trends and associated business models.

You will actively contribute to the Digital Advisory practice and to delivery of Digital Advisory initiatives. You will be able to work as a key member of our project teams, taking responsibility for delivering some of our key client outcomes.

**Responsibilities will include**:

- You will be responsible for the Agility transformation and the efficiency improvement of up to 2 client teams
- Establish ways of working to enable an agile team to plan, forecast, remove impediments and deliver against a product backlog.
- Improve Kainos reputation by building strong client relationships
- Advising on which methodology or hybrid approach is best suited for the specific client needs
- Contributing to the execution of large-scale Agility transformations in Kainos/client joint teams or multi-vendor environments using the guard rails to encourage effective use of techniques and tooling
- Supporting Digital Advisory leadership with the development of offerings, building customer relationships, developing account strategies, sharing knowledge, and mentoring those around you.

**Minimum (essential) requirements**:

- Demonstrable experience utilising Scrum or Kanban to improve efficiency of individual teams.
- Understanding of how to write outcome focussed Epics, Features and User Stories
- Experience using knowledge and evidence to influence change in a project
- Experience facilitating workshops and leading improvement initiatives
- Active participation in revenue or sales-generating activity OR contributing to bids and proposals

**DESIRABLE**:

- Core consulting experience in client facing roles OR experience working in Agile teams in roles such as Engineering, Design, BA, Data etc...
