About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Delivery Manager to lead a critical workstream within a significant transformation program for one of our key clients in the Northern Ireland Public Sector. This role demands a strategic mindset, exceptional project management skills, and a proven ability to navigate complex environments.

Your Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive support and guidance to the Programme Director and senior stakeholders on all aspects of your assigned workstream's delivery and governance.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders, subcontractors, and third parties to define the scope and objectives of your workstream within the overall program implementation plan.
  • Develop and execute a detailed workstream plan, ensuring alignment with the program timeline and budget.
  • Drive the successful delivery of your workstream by proactively managing dependencies, risks, and issues across constituent projects to achieve business objectives.
  • Oversee Waterfall, Agile, or Hybrid project methodologies to ensure timely and efficient completion within defined parameters.
  • Foster a collaborative and productive environment for your team members, promoting continuous learning and development.

Your Qualifications

  • Demonstrable experience in project management methodologies, ideally with certifications such as Prince2 Practitioner, PMP, MSP, or equivalent.
  • A relevant 3rd-level qualification or comparable experience.
  • Proven success in large transformation programs, delivering efficiencies and tangible business benefits across diverse departments and units.
  • Experience in delivering projects within at least one of the following areas: Infrastructure, Security, Data Management, SaaS Implementation. Familiarity with Azure technologies and infrastructure is highly advantageous.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, enabling effective interaction with individuals at all levels within an organization.
  • A proactive and agile approach to work, coupled with the ability to adapt to change and manage ambiguity effectively.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Programme Manager or Senior Project Manager.
  • Extensive experience engaging with senior stakeholders.
