I have just taken on an instruction for a highly appealing, hands-on Facilities Assistant role based in Cambridge (They even have their own, subsided on-site canteen - trust me the food is delicious..).
The company are incredibly enthusiastic regarding the development of their staff - they pride themselves on giving fantastic growth opportunities as well as some really appealing benefits.
They are more than happy to invest in people, providing relevant training and offer yearly salary reviews as well as potential bonuses, flexible working hours and the best part.. Full, cooked breakfasts on a Friday..
You will be either NEBOSH or IOSH certified with good Microsoft Office skills, have some experience within a corporate structure and a full, clean driving license and hands-on experience
If you are hungry to succeed, willing to learn and keen to get "stuck in" to a wide-range of daily tasks (no two days are the same here) - this would be a fantastic opportunity for you.
This role is as varied as can be and a brief summary of some of the key responsibilities can be seen below:

- Liaising and supervising contractors, management and colleagues (excellent communication skills are a must)
- Utilisation of building management systems and software (HVAC and BMS experience is ideal)
- Order placement and tracking
- Administration of security and fire systems
- Checking RAMS documentation and issuing work permits
- Carrying out regular site inspections
- Maintaining log books, operating manuals and updating relevant databases
- Managing relevant Health and Safety supplies and documents
- Undertaking small DIY repairs and maintenance tasks
- Being responsible for company fleet cars and regular safety checks
- Reception/front of house duties in order to cover lunchbreaks/leave etc.
- Supporting internal events
