Central Accommodation Coordinator

Overview Of The Role
You will be the central point for accommodation planning, availability and standards across our schools in the UK. This will involve liaison with stakeholders in our schools, admissions, operations and sales teams. You must be able to confidently present data to make reasoned arguments, but also be ready to make some decisions in an emerging scenario due to the nature of our enrolment calendars.
**Responsibilities**:
- Working with the Executive Team to ensure accommodation provision and quality across the portfolio is in line with 5-year planning and school development plans
- Co-ordinate the issuing of annual Surveys of key stakeholders to establish satisfaction levels including of accommodation provision and quality.
- Work with the Operations and Finance teams to recommend areas needing to be prioritised for investment to ensure consistency of standard across the portfolio.
- Plan for mínimal voids and make recommendations to maximise revenue achievable from bed stock available.
- Liaise with all the different business units and divisions to ensure bed stock allocations for each intake, including summer schools are agreed and clearly communicated.
- Providing accurate and timely availability updates to support strategic sales decisions throughout the recruitment cycle.
- Promote clear communication channels between business units for the messages regarding availability throughout the recruitment cycle
- Work with the Heads of Boarding during the crucial recruitment periods to ensure enrolments monitored and availability updated constantly for the admissions team.
- Engage with third parties for additional bed stock, linking students to external providers, or subletting on external market where necessary
PERSON SPECIFICATION
- A significant track record of delivering high-end customer experiences
- Understanding of void management and accommodation management ideally within an educational setting
- Experience of managing bedroom stock within a profit-making environment, ideally within the education sector is desirable
- Excellent attention to detail
- Confidence working with and presenting data
- The patience, diplomacy and influencing skills required to work effectively with colleagues across multiple teams, and multiple sites, in an effective manner
- The confidence and flexibility required to seize opportunities and respond rapidly to shifting circumstances
- The willingness and ability to travel in the UK as required
