At Anglian Water, we’re looking to recruit a team coordinator To lead and support a small team responsible for the scheduling and controlling of vehicle resource supplied by both the internal fleet & external contractors in response to routine, non-routine emergency tanker, & bulk/skip haulage requirements. Your role will help to monitor the performance of the controlling/driver teams,
- and contractors. To ensure the service delivered meets or exceeds Customer expectations.
You’ll be playing a key part in ensuring we effectively transport water recycling by-products around the region from treatment centres to be sold as fertiliser products to farmers whilst also protecting the environment by playing a huge role in helping to minimise the risk of flooding and pollution by proactively jetting our sewers and drains to both prevent and clear blockages.
What does it take to be a Central Team Coordinator?Excellent IT skills - experience with Microsoft Office suite is essential & any use of a CRM or Database system would transfer across well-

- This is a fast-paced & important role, so having resilience & the ability to challenge and question stakeholders is essential-
- A high level of attention to detail- Your role will involve:
Liaison and support of the scheduling & controlling team and drivers, to ensure the vehicle is efficiently utilised to deliver the required service in excess of Customer expectations.-
- Support the scheduling of collections by the central scheduling & controlling team, through close liaison with the Operations Coordinators where necessary.-
- Liaison and support of subcontract HGV Tanker & Bulk Haulage operations where necessary, in support of the in house fleets, to ensure Service Delivery.-
- Support the Planning manager in the recruitment & training of new staff.-
- Support of the Scheduling/Controlling team, by covering operational shifts where necessary, during periods of sickness/leave-
- Data collection and collation of the operations performance, from drivers, suppliers, and AWS Operational staff as necessary, to allow timely and efficient financial and operational feedback to both Customers and the internal teams-
- Liaison with Controllers, Drivers, Suppliers, and Customers to ensure that Service Delivery is within full compliance of current legislation concerning HGV tanker & bulk/skip haulage operations.Why Anglian Water?
