This role would suit someone who is passionate about bringing places to life in ways that engage a whole range of different audiences. You’ll collaborate with colleagues and work with volunteers to ensure that we deliver an exciting, dynamic and high-quality visitor programme.
Interviews will take place on Tuesday 29 August at Dyffryn Gardens.
Mae'r swydd hon yn addas ar gyfer rhywun sydd wrth ei fodd yn dod â lleoedd yn fyw mewn ffyrdd sy'n denu ystod eang o wahanol gynulleidfaoedd. Byddwch yn cydweithio â'ch cydweithwyr ac yn gweithio â gwirfoddolwyr i ddarparu rhaglen ymwelwyr gyffrous, ddynamig o ansawdd dda.
Cynhelir cyfweliadau ddydd Mawrth 29 Awst yng Ngerddi Dyffryn.
What it's like to work here:A peaceful oasis on the outskirts of Cardiff, Dyffryn Gardens offers grand vistas and intimate garden rooms with year-round seasonal highlights to enjoy. We’re a friendly team whose focus is on ensuring we deliver an exceptional everyday visit for all our visitors. We focus on building strong foundations for our offer and developing them each year to help deliver great experiences for our visitors. We’re ambitious too, with ongoing work to restore the gardens and an openness to explore new ways of engaging our audiences with this special place.
Mae Gerddi Dyffryn, ar gyrion Caerdydd, yn werddon heddychlon sy'n cynnig golygfeydd godidog ac ystafelloedd gardd clyd gydag uchafbwyntiau tymhorol i'w mwynhau drwy'r flwyddyn. Rydym yn dîm cyfeillgar sy'n canolbwyntio ar sicrhau ein bod yn darparu ymweliad bob dydd gwerth chweil i'n hymwelwyr i gyd. Rydym yn canolbwyntio ar feithrin sylfeini cadarn ar gyfer ein cynnig ac yn datblygu o flwyddyn i flwyddyn er mwyn helpu i gynnig profiadau gwych i’n hymwelwyr. Rydym yn uchelgeisiol hefyd, ac mae gwaith yn mynd rhagddo i adfer y gerddi ac rydym yn agored i archwilio ffyrdd newydd o ymgysylltu â'n cynulleidfaoedd gyda’r lle arbennig hwn.
What you'll be doing:You'll be responsible for delivering elements of our core visitor programme and designing and implementing other high-quality seasonal programmes - seeking to find new ways to inspire others, engage visitors with our work and tell our stories. The main focus of the role will be on developing programming for families during school holidays.
You'll be proactive in all elements of developing the offer, including responding to audience insight and feedback. We are looking for someone with a collaborative approach, who has the ability to adapt plans and styles to the needs of audiences, and to suit the overall property plan. You’ll have some supervision of volunteers and work in partnership with other staff members.
This is a key operational role and you will be part of the duty management team. You'll need to have a flexible approach and be willing to ‘muck-in’ from time to time and generally support the smooth running of the site.
Byddwch yn gyfrifol am ddarparu elfennau o'n rhaglen ymwelwyr craidd a chynllunio a gweithredu rhaglenni tymhorol eraill o ansawdd dda - gan chwilio am ffyrdd newydd o ysbrydoli eraill, denu ymwelwyr at ein gwaith ac adrodd ein hanesion. Prif ffocws y rôl hon fydd datblygu rhaglenni ar gyfer teuluoedd yn ystod gwyliau'r haf.
Byddwch yn rhagweithiol ym mhob elfen o ddatblygu'r cynnig, gan gynnwys ymateb i ddealltwriaeth ac adborth cynulleidfa. Rydym yn chwilio am rywun sy'n meddu ar ddull cydweithredol o weithio, ac sy'n gallu addasu cynlluniau ac arddulliau yn ôl anghenion unrhyw gynulleidfa, ac i weddu i gynllun cyffredinol yr eiddo. Byddwch yn goruchwylio rhai gwirfoddolwyr a byddwch yn gweithio mewn partneriaeth ag aelodau eraill o staff.
Mae hon yn swydd weithredol allweddol a byddwch yn rhan o'r tîm rheoli dyletswydd. Bydd angen ichi fod â dull hyblyg ac yn barod i dorchi llewys o dro i dro, a chefnogi'r gwaith cyffredinol o redeg y safle’n ddidrafferth.
