In this role you are required to work across multiple health and social care settings whilst working individually and effectively as part of 2 core teams.

The University of Sheffield - Nursing Associate Team - who are hosting this post and have line management responsibility for the post through Lynne Firth - Director of Apprenticeships.

NHS England - Regional Team - North East and Yorkshire - Lyndsey Murden who is Senior Workforce Lead within the Regional Team covering Primary Care and Nursing Associates.

The purpose of the role is to support Primary care settings in collaboration with a wide range of stakeholders through the following areas: from recruitment, on programme to progression into preceptorship. You will also support Trainee Nursing Associates (TNA) and Nursing Associates through communities of practice where best practice can be discussed and shared.
There is significant focus on increasing the number of Trainee Nursing Associates (TNA) and Registered Nursing Associates (RNA) into Primary Care Nursing teams. (General Practice).
NHS England (NHSE) with the support of University of Sheffield is offering an opportunity to recruit a Nursing Associate to work with the Primary Care Project Lead to promote expansion and sustainability of the NA role within Primary Care.

This role is also available as a secondment opportunity.
