**About the role**:
This role is based in Brighton & Hove, with options for home and office working. Applicants will need to be able to meet with staff where required who are resident in Brighton & Hove, and to attend the Brighton office for team meetings, training sessions and other requirements as they arise.

As an Administrator you will:

- Provide high quality administrative support to the team and service, including but not limited to, administrate and support referral and triage processes
- Provide a survivor-centred, trauma-aware and culturally inclusive response to people who contact the service, which includes survivors of domestic abuse, professional agencies and members of the public
- Update and maintain manual and computerised database and case management systems and records in accordance with the service’s internal policies/procedures and organisational standards
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail, telephone and general queries into the service
- Collate and supply information and correspondence to internal and external contacts in accordance with required deadlines including those in relation to the MARAC
- Liaise with referring agencies to improve referral information and the general referral process for survivors of domestic abuse
- Provide general office administration support which could include photocopying, filing, data entry, ordering of office supplies, processing invoices and raising purchase orders, and administering meetings

**You will need**:

- Experience of working in an administrative role and undertaking a variety of administrative duties
- Experience of working and adhering to policies, processes and procedures
- Understanding of domestic abuse and how to respond sensitively and appropriately to survivors
- Understanding and knowledge of the requirements relating to confidentiality and data protection
- Understanding and knowledge of equal opportunities and diversity
- Good understanding and knowledge of office systems and business support functions
- Ability to prioritise own workload and deal with competing demands in an organised and methodical manner
- Excellent IT skills and conversant with all packages in the standard Microsoft Office suite and case management systems/databases
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate sensitively and effectively both verbally and in writing with a wide range of individuals and audiences
- Ability to work on own initiative and with mínimal supervision to achieve deadlines
- Excellent record keeping skills with a focus on quality and accuracy
