This role is primarily based at our Ribbleton office (near Preston) but will support the People function for the wider national business. This is an ideal opportunity for a HR generalist looking to develop and progress in their career by being exposed to a variety of people focused duties.

**What will you do as our People Administrator?**
- Support managers with recruitment related activities (including drafting and posting adverts and job descriptions)
- Coordinate the onboarding process including producing offer letters, contracts, checking eligibility to work, supporting managers with induction planning
- Use and maintain the HRIS (PeopleHR) including data input, managing workflow processes, extracting reports and analysing data
- Support with any M&A activity including onboarding new colleagues into the business
- Support the L&D Manager in keeping the Learning Management System up to date and helping with training administration such as booking training rooms, refreshments and preparing training materials
- Administer and implement any new HR projects and initiatives e.g. review of current policies and procedures, implementation of new policies, review and update of the induction programme
- Support with absence management, organise occupational health referrals and guide on return-to-work arrangements
- Complete all administrative HR processes in a timely and efficient manner, including electronic filing of all employee documentation
- Assist with company benefits administration
- Liaise with the Finance team to ensure and payroll enquiries, ad-hoc instructions and changes are processed within the correct pay period
- Assist with any other duties as required

**What are we looking for?**
- Previous HR generalist experience (or similar), ideally within the private sector
- Ideally Level 3 CIPD (or equivalent) qualified.
- Knowledge of UK employment legislation
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to talk to all levels of the business through all communication channels
- Previous experience with PeopleHR would be beneficial but not essential
- Enthusiasm for the HR profession as well as a flexible attitude
- Ability to prioritise and work to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to juggle multiple tasks and work within a busy team
- Great attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- Driven, hardworking and proactive approach to work

- Basic salary £22,000 - 25,000 per annum (depending on experience)
