The primary function of this HR assistant role is to provide general support to the HR Manager/Team and assist with the day-to-day running of the department.

**Reporting to** : HR Manager

**Main duties**:

- Help with resume screening and initial phone screens, schedule interviews and keep recruitment records up-to-date.
- Assisting in day-to-day operations of the HR functions.
- Carry out the induction and orientation of new staff members.
- Supporting internal and external inquiries and requests related to the HR department.
- Ensure all data is updated into the ERP system, personal files are maintained for each employee with all the notes and development throughout, and maintain all records.
- Providing clerical and administrative support to the Human Resources Manager.
- Deal with employee requests regarding human resources issues, rules, and regulations.
- Maintaining confidentiality with all employee data.
- Any other tasks assigned by the line manager.

**About you**
- 2 years’ experience, working in HR role. Customer service attitude
- CIPD L3 preferable but not essential.
- Good knowledge of UK employment law.
- Solid written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise.
- Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
