At their local agency office in Stamford, they deliver their award-winning service and sell their product range across the region, championing the honest, personal approach to customer service they are famous for.
Our branch is an expanding local business and an opportunity has arisen to join our team as a Team Leader.
As a Team Leader, you will provide effective support to the Partners and Office Manager through
the management and development of our Account Handlers. You will also contribute to the continued delivery of first-class customer service and compliant day to day operations.
You will be responsible for leading a small team and will be involved in the day to day execution of our business plan for the team to ensure our continued growth and to deliver the
agreed goals. We are looking for an experienced leader who is highly organised, self-motivated and enthusiastic.
Whilst previous insurance experience would be an advantage a strong background in leadership/management is essential.
You will be responsible for the smooth day to day running of your team, to ensure the consistent
delivery of excellent customer service and to meet our ambitious growth plans.
**Additional key responsibilities within your team will include**:
- Co-ordinate sales, administrative and customer service activity, getting involved in special campaigns and projects along the way.
- Lead, manage, motivate and develop direct reports so that team members are able to maximise their contribution to business objectives and realise their potential.
- Manage and report on important business information as required.

**Qualifications and Experience**:
- Minimum of 5 GCSE’s at Grade C/4 or above or above (inc Maths and English) or equivalent.
- Proven experience of managing a team is essential.
- Strong I.T. literacy, being proficient in the use of MS Office Applications including Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
- A background in insurance or financial services would be advantageous but not essential.
